I just installed the Illuminated kick plates from Nissan and noticed something that I don't know is normal or not. When I open the door, the kick plates don't illuminated immediately, they instead seem to ramp up to on if that makes sense. Could someone that has the Nissan illuminated kick plates comment on this and tell me how yours work. Thanks in advance.

 

Mine were already installed when I picked up my Maxima... They start dim and brighten to full illumination.

 

Can anyone post a video of this? I am planning on purchasing some some for my Max and want to see how they look.

 

yeah they slowly light up, thats what mine do.

 

by slowly I'm guessing you guys me about 2 seconds
