Where is the rear (POS) crankshaft position sensor located on a 2000 Maxima and how do I get to it.? My maxima was having a hard time starting up (as if it was not geting any gas)but once started it ran fine with no issues. Now, I can't even get it started up. Reading on-line many are say that it's the C P sensor. Any suggestion would be of great help. Thank you.

 

I know there was a recall on the 5.5, not sure about 5th gen. Worth calling your local Nissan dealer and having them run your vin.
