The Eibach drop is a great mod, but also factor in an alignment ($50-80). $350 is plenty to cover it assuming your installing the springs yourself which is easy. Its spring today and summer is coming,...... get the tint

Get them window's tinted.

What you do with the left over ~$150 - 200 depends on what you're thinking long term. Exhaust, wheels, BBK?

Better start saving now

All of this

The very first thing I do to any car I buy is tint the windows, if it hasn't been done already. If it has one of those ugly sunroof airflector things on, that immediately comes off, then the windows get tinted.

I voted the Stillen lip..because after you get pulled over a few times for tints..those tint tickets = your Stillen Lip ..See I think in advance.

Couldn't you buy both the Stillen lip..and tints though?

Here is my 6thgen, RIP Babe!, upgraded to a 7thgen now. But maybe you can use this as a reference for the mirror tint. It faded to black and that actually kept it legal for me, trust me, Po-Pos were mad when they pulled me over and found out i was legal

I believe $160 is about what I paid for my windows to be tinted. Just make sure you go to a place the has a lifetime guarantee against bubbling and fading.

WRT the Stillen lip, I'm pretty sure it's listed on their site for around $250 w/ free shipping and $10 insurance/handling. Call 'em when you place your order and ask for 10% off. That's what I did.

You can also look for Stillen coupon codes.

I paid $240 for mine (that included removing the old TINT, a lifetime guarantee against the TINT fading and/or turning purple)

Damn, i feel a little stupid right now. I never looked at the stillen website..i figgured much like other highend performance part companys (first example off the top of my head is HKS) , they would only sell thier stuff to venders that we could then buy off of....almost all my parts for my 240sx had to be bought though a vender and not the actual companys.....it pissed me off to no end having to pay the middle man (venders) fee..never understood that buisness practice.....thank you for the heads up, and good lookin out on the stillen coupon codes. that be nice to save a little more cash for other future projects

I'd vote for the tint since summer is coming, then use the rest for gas and chow and take a nice road trip to enjoy your ride.

No prob. There are so few aftermarket parts for 7th Gen's that it makes hunting them down a little easier (as opposed to other cars). I hate going through 3rd party vendors but sometimes you can find pretty good deals. A few months ago I found a (brand new, unopened) Borla cat-back (for the 7th Gen) being sold on Amazon for about $200 under MSRP.

The other thing you could do is check for a used Stillen lip, either on the Org or eBay. But personally, I'd grab it new.

Ya, i think id buy it new...i dont really want someone elses chipped, scratched and wrong color lip.lol.....i like my sh#t to be crisp and new.

Well i talked to the wife and were gonna go get tints and a lip. i have yet to see full mirror tints on a 7th gen so atleast it will be something a little different, ..the drop and paint for the lip will have to wait till summer. ****k it though, ill rock out with tints and a black lip for a minute.

I put 2% percent all way around before but you should get your front windshield tinted haha it's awesome. Here's a loop hole...

if you go to your eye doctor and tell them you have sensitive eyes then you can get your window tint legal in the front (35%) and trust me you don't want to go darker than that on the front windshield :-)

Can't go wrong with the tint(s). Tint on one window is singular. If you get more than one window tinted, then you have tints. No one puts a new set of wheel or tire on their cars. They buy multiple. LMAO... just playing DA. Party on...

My first mod was a tint. Don't go too dark and go with the same shade all around. Limo tint is played out. LED complete kits is nice. Run u around 100 from JDM toy.

I rocked h&r's on my 2002 se and looked and it handled nice. However I also got some tokico blues. Suspension done properly bolts rear arms shocks alignment is gonna run you close to 1000. On my 11 max I went with eibachs but should have went with h&r's. got front strut bar and rear sway. Handles ok but I do need shocks.

I cleaned up thread completely including the worthless grammar lesson as it wasn't on topic.. Next time I have to clean up after you children, I'm locking this thread. If you can't stay on topic, don't bother posting. If you want to bicker like a bunch of whiny children, take it to, say the civic forum or something.

I say Eibach springs and leave it fishbowl for a clean look.. Hey if you have all the fancy gadgets inside, show it off. Plus tint can get you into trouble if it's too dark. Lower that SUV and give it a better stance... Just my opinion

Seriously...get the tint first. Any other mods after that will look that much better than by themselves on a car without tint
