Excited my car is off to paint
Keeping the 2-tone scheme (dark-colored rockers/lower bumper area) or doing all one solid color? I'm kinda partial to the stock 2-tone on the lighter paint colors, like my original pearlwhite car.

I have a feeling you mean your local Maaco. If that's the case, it'll be black all over all right. All over your window sills, door seals, ect.. Since you're doing a color change, I really hope you chose a quality shop. A pay and spray franchise isn't going to take the time to do it right, to say the least.

Was the original paint that bad? PB usually holds up well. Looks pretty good from the pic above, aside from the miscolored door protectors. Hopefully you're satisfied when you get it back.

the paint was ok but there was to many scratches and the color i didnt like at all. plus i had to match the paint with the lip kit i bought. i know that its not going to be a show car quality paint job but it will look better and newer then what i had. i cant ask for so much for the price im paying. sorry its not up to standard for u. lol
I said I hope your satisfied with it. Hopefully it turns out alright and lasts awhile.

We need beter angles and whatnot, those pics don't really show all that much, waaay too many shadows....but it doesn't look bad from the outside.

that job looks like it's rocking a ton of orange peel on it..also i guess they didn't want to fix the dings.
at the end of the day...if you got a good price and you're happy...then that's what matters.

like open the door, trunk, hood...is it messy?
did you go for the "clear-less" paint, or is it black with clear on it? Mine is the former, and it's basically a slow transition from gloss on the sides, to matte finish on the roof 
for single stage wax and paint protection is VERY VERY important to the life of the paint.
Holy cow $218? Lol dang I guess for that you can't complain. I've always heard of those $199 Maaco jobs but they rarely actually get done for that (need dings filled here and there, talked into pricier packages, etc.)
Quality really just varies place to place. I've been using a guy in Dallas (Titan Collisions) who used to run a Maaco. He got so fed up with the terrible quality he opened his own shop. He said Maaco would spray house paint and whatever they could find onto people's cars lol. He now does both Maaco type jobs and "real" jobs too. I had him do a "real" job on my Civic 6 years ago with base/clear, new hood, and some body work. Cost me ~$1,200. Then last year I had him do my mom's car with one of his cheaper jobs. It's a one stage acrylic, cost me a little over $500 total with a 2 year warranty. I think I had him fill 15 dings/dents included in that price too. And they do a fantastic job taping/masking. Definitely happy with it. Before and after:
