Thumbs up Full STILLEN 09-13 Maxima Body Kit Available Now

Rounding out the very popular STILLEN polyurethane body kit components for the 7th gen Maxima is the introduction of the STILLEN Rear Corners.

Look for additional photography coming soon, immediately we put them on our in-house Maxima, and being painted on the rear fascia doesn't show off the corners as well as traditional paint matching, but these take the side skirts and complete the look of the full kit.

We have also lowered the price of the full kits, and brought down the price of the side skirts for those who have the front lip spoiler and want to complete the full look!

Here's the parts breakdown:

7-Piece Body Kit (Front Lip, Side Skirts, Rear Corners, Roof Wing, Rear Wing)
5-Piece Body Kit (Front Lip, Side Skirts & Rear Corners)
Front Lip Spoiler
Side Skirts
Rear Corners
Rear Wing
Roof Wing

Should of made a rear valance instead of rear corners. Common Stillen make it happen!!!!!

Agreed. The corners look unfinished/incomplete. Definitely would have sold more if they have just made a valance.

I agree as well. I believe alot of us are more interested in a rear diffuser over rear corners!!! STILLEN - can we make this happen?!?

Most of the requests we received were for something stylish and simple to round out the side skirts, not for a full rear fascia, which would have been very expensive, and potentially something that requires truck freight to ship.

The lower body kit retails for $820, the larger includes a rear wing and a roof wing, I'd say $820 for a 5-piece polyurethane kit is a heck of a deal. Most fiberglass kits are more than that.

I've heard the diffuser talk from members here, it's something we can look into, but typical diffusers require underbody trays, varying materials, and can be expensive. If this is a desire, perhaps I can start a new topic and we can get into details of what you all are looking for?

Maybe not a real diffuser but something that fills out the rear end
Something that will take those corners and make it flow all together.

Josh@STILLEN my fault ... I mean rear diffuser. Sorry got them both mixed up. Like something simple and subtle that can stick on the rear between the exhaust pipes. A simple add on that everyone can afford like the Stillen lip

Thanks! I would think it would be less than that if you balanced the shopping for price with the shopping for the shop with the best reputation, we've never paid that for painting 5-7 pieces.

Let me start a discussion thread, and we can throw the ideas around to see what you guys are looking for, and see if polyurethane is an option, or if something else is needed to work.

Well, I have your front lip on my car..and I was quoted by 8 shops..250 to paint to 350 just alone for that. Then was quoted 500 for the side skirts..So, You do the math lol. Trust, me I go shopping when it comes to best prices..and in NY you get Owned. Unless you go to Queens or the City and get that ghetto discount price and end up spending even more because the shop can't do it right!

I do like the kit though...I'd rock it..hopefully theres a 370z Nismo kit out there that's what I'll be getting instead.

I'm sorry.. being from SoCal I tend to forget others might be in a different area with different trends for labor. Ouch!

And I agree, definitely can't just go to anyone, polyurethane is good for life if prepped and painted correctly, if not, you'll definitely be headed back.

I'm not impressed at all by the Kit. The rear skirts are Ugly.
The side skirts are just blahhh. The only one I purchase was the roof wing last year. For this kit IMO the price is too high. You can add another 500$ plus to have primed and painted.

Personal I think Ron Jon kits are the nicest. Flow great w the cars

So does this mean that there is a "limited time" special price for the other individual parts?! If so, perfect timing for me to pick up a front lip!!

A rear diffuser for 7th Gen's hasn't been made yet. This is what people are currently discussing.

http://forums.maxima.org/7th-generat...ml#post8757117

Stillen recently came out with Rear Corners in an attempt to complete the body kit for the 7th Gen. However, many people, including myself, feel this is inadequate and thus want something additional to set the rear off. Something like a diffuser, splitter, or valance.

Thanks, I just googled it and now know what it is.

I, myself, dont feel the look of a diffuser compliments our car. It gives the car a bit of a sport'ish look that I am not going after. That is just me but I haven't really seen it on our cars yet so it may change my mind.

Thanks! It's hard to please the masses, but we're very happy with the 7th gen Maxima and what Nissan has done with it, and happy to support it with product development.

The cost of the polyurethane chemicals has been on the rise, we haven't taking pricing up on the lip yet, but unfortunately it's coming.

Can someone let me know if $600 for paint is too much for the Side Skirts / Rear Corners, I want to make sure I am paying a fair price.

I paid $200 to have it professionally done but if you have it prepared for paint you can save yourself some money on the front lip, also for your future reference if you choose to get the skirts / rear corners I paid $450 for painting those

Just bought the Stillen front lip and with all the talk about the high painting prices I thought I would try this approach using the factory color code aerosol can and clear coat.

http://www.automotivetouchup.com/spr...t_matched.aspx

I've had some auto body training and like trying things on my own so I thought what the hell.
If it turns out the quality isn't up to my standards then no harm done. I'll just take them into my body and paint guy for re-painting.
If it comes out looking good then it will be worth the $40 or so bucks spent.

Hey I would really luv to DIY paint myself. So let me know how yours turn out. No experience painting but I'm a good learner and YouTube is a great resource

I think MIA Shift did it this way as well. His came out pretty good. Don't forget to buy the clear coat.

Yeah I ordered the clear coat along with a plastic parts adhesion promoter.
It will be sanded, prepped, primed, painted, clear coated, sanded, and rubbed-out similar to the cars finish.
It's probably a month or more out until completion...it's springtime and that means the wife has her own plans for my valueable car time (yard work) .
