Litch's sr20 s13.
Litch's sr20 s13.
So I figured I would show the .org my new project. Picked this up in ATL background and spec:
1991 S13.
230k on body
1.5k on engine/transmission
Bought with the sr20det already swapped and with some bolt ons
Greddy pullies
FMIC
Generic BOV
Autozone intake
The suspension is completely done.
Coilovers
front/rear sway bars
front strut tower bar.
Day 1:

Greeny put it best to describe the exterior "Musta been a he11 of a drug"

So the first order of business was to CLEAN everything.
I got out the bucket/sponge/razorblades/goo-gone and attacked the whole exterior, took off all the stickers, cleaned all the goo from the stickers that used to be on the car, washed the inside and out. Took out the rear seatbelts (no back seat but apparently the last owner didn't own a breaker bar???)
Once all that craziness was done, the name of the game was getting oem back on. The fenders on the front are duraflex... but they didn't fit right, around the door, around the front bumper, it needed to be sanded/cut to sit flush, and I don't really care for the duraflex, so it was back to stock oem fenders.
Also, obviously those paintball painted z32 rims had to go, picked up a set of motegi m118's...
Also figured paint was in order, so after sanding and prepping the body I did 7 coats of flat black plasti-dip.
here is the combo of all those:

After I got the wheels on, I saw they were not as flush as I like, 30mm spacers all around...

Time to do something about that cracked middle tail light...

Why not do a little jdm action.

blacked out the 3rd brake light too just for fun.
Time to turn my attention to the interior, that puke green....

so more flat black all around.

I thought that turned out pretty well.
Got an hks cold air intake to put on tomorrow...
also, if it is nice out, I will be putting another coat of plasti-dip on there and the clear coat...
stay tuned there is much more rowdiness from me to come.

LOL
I like to call it "jdm-yo" where they buy a bunch of e-bay parts and do stupid stuff to the car whilst high on crappy sticks n stems mexican brick, then they throw their longboards in the car and pretend they understand cars.
real jdm is the buizness, like my 180sx center garnish. You buy dat stuff whilst sippin on black velvet, neat.
Glad you approve one guy
I am changin the headlights...
without givin too much away lemme just throw out 3 little letters
N. S. X.
Why thank you mang,
Up on deck looks-wise are:
30mm fender flares.
35% tint windows
rocketbunny wing.
and obviously get all the little bits n pieces such as the fog lights, rear side trim lights.
Your words do me much honor moncef...
if my kung fu was half as strong as yours....
I would be a happy man

I had those seats in my mustang. If you drive anymore than an hour in that car I recommend getting the cushion insert for the bottom part. Unless that is you like your back wrecked
Good seats though. DO NOT GET THEM IN ANYTHING THAT WILL MAKE YOU SWEAT!!!! Mine were suede and being in 100+ weather with the inside of the car being hotter (stripped out racecar style) it is the most unpleasant thing. They will reek of all the chipotle you eat. I recommend either a plusher vinyl or a tough cloth.
