Probably should start a thread about this car since its going to be my DD. But its my old turbo car i was going to sell it but its better than my current DD so im going to use it. That plus i remember what the PO of this car told me he wanted somebody that will enjoy the car not just sell it for parts so im going to use it. I have 4 4th gens and 2 of them are about to go, I just have too many of them. So its going to be Big black and this 97 that stays. Details?

-ebay CAI/SRI whatever is easier.
-vacuum block
-EGR delete
-oil cooler might be in the works
-Headers&exhaust unknown because i havent bought them yet. Headers will be wrapped.
-Brakes unknown, probably going to stay stock. already have upgraded lines/rotors/and some stout pads F&R or i will move to Y33 Q45 fronts because they have much larger rotors.

I have pretty much everything just need some of the swap parts headers and exhaust only want to spend $5-600 at most to get the thing back on the road. Depending on how much i have left i might be able to ditch the old bose system in the car or do a retrofit/headlight upgrade. The previous owner wanted to see a VQ35 in the car i just dont have the cash for that nor the patience to pull/build/install another motor. Installing this transmission is already going to be more than i wanted to deal with.

What is the plan? Just do every possible upgrade so im not tempted to touch the car outside of cosmetics, sound system, wheels and silly suspension mods because i cant help it to be honest. But it has to be reliable, comfortable, easy to drive. So A/C and all, the transmission has 60K on it the motor despite seeing boost should be at around 100k. So beats the 245K my current DD has on it.

Hopefully i can be done with everything with in 2 weeks hopefully less. And i hope i dont run into any of the old mods necessary for boost causing issues.

Hey don't drag me into this, i'm only here for the lulz cause Crusher is trying to turn a once modded and boosted car into a reliable daily driver by *drum roll, please* modifying it.

My recommendation... part it out and sell or scrap it, use that money to look for an unmodified, stock car for daily driver use.

Have two cars. Big Black (BB) and a daily driver (DD) and that's it.

I already told you that i'm willing to drive all the way up there to fill that p.o.s. full of lead, and it looks like i'm gonna have to buy more ammo cause you have more than one that I wasn't aware of.
