OMG, I used to see you everywhere, because I lived in the houses off of Ray (backing up to the mountain). I cannot believe that. Well hey, good to hear from you, always wondered who you were. I drive the Pearl White 99 Max, used to have 18" Racing Tuner 10 Spoke Wheels, now dropped to the ground (or something), limo tint, 18" Konig Caffeines with the overly large Fineline/Phoenix, AZ sticker, and stillen exhaust.
Well good for me, more peoples in PHX. Actually though, I am pretty much done modding my car, just wanted to talk to peoples from around here. Everyone has wires on everything. anyways, i saw a 3rd. gen. owner w/ V8 emblems from a T-bird on it,and i was gonna ask him 'bout it but he ignored me so i floored it away and he tried to race me but i walked him around 80 or so, I was like WTF ( i was jus gonna ask about the emblems)

Yea and my friend there said he saw a 4th gen. Max run like a high 12 1/4 mile, and asked him to pop hood and lo and behold, Custom Biturbo, I called his bluff but he assured me,as he did the same to the owner. Is this anybody here?

 

curtis at max rev did his kit. I live in tempe go to asu (ME) and have only my bmx bike to get around on. My civic race car is in nj.

I'm sorry that we don't meet your expectations of being "modded", however, even if a Max only runs a mid 14 with simple bolt-ons, I can still put 4 people in my car and all our gear and go on a ski-trip to colorado and not hear anyone complain about the ride or how cramped the back seat is, because it isn't. I am not trying to be a 10 sec. rice rocket, my goal is to be fast, handle good, get good gas mileage when I want to, and still maintain enough comfort so that 4 people and our gear for a week can pile into my car and go somewhere 1500+ miles away and not be fatigued from the drive/ride.

damn...i just did a search for "arizona" and found this topic...i never go to the general discussion forums but maybe i'll start...i'm in scottsdale in case anyone is actually still looking at this topic...everyone in arizona come to the meet this sat (feb 10) at chaparral park (hayden and chaparral)...bbq @ 3 o clock in case you didn't read the west coast boards...everyone come down there

 

My car is back home in Tucson, but I go to school in Cali, University of San Diego. Tucson passed a whole bunch of new laws for 2001. Recently I had to take off my clear tail lights, clear corners, every blue light, non transparent windshield sticker, and I got a warning for my exhaust, but I am not taking that off. Hope that in Phoenix the cops dont f#@% with you guys.

 

i got **** for having dark red lights as my parking lights, then about a month later for having blue lights there (so now i have legal hyperwhites)...i also get hastled for having red in my front corner markers and blue in my rear corner markers...but w/ the new body kit, it gets rid of my sidemarkers so the only blue i have is in my license plate lights and i don't even like that anymore so i will probably take it out...that sucks about tuscon passing all those laws...i haven't even heard of any of that

 

Mr Burner, I need to give you props for that body kit. Companies have been needing to make a crazy kit like that for Maximas for a long time. Do know if they are going to make a Ninja style kit for the pre '97 Maximas?

 

i don't have a clue...this one just came out from spoilers etc....i'm glad it did...i hit a raccoon and needed a full bumper replacement...the only other body kits out for 2k's are stillen and the anniversery edition kit...both of those are just little lips that attach to the existing bumper...i needed a full new bumper so insurance paid for most of this...i really am not sure if they are going to come out w/ one for earlier years...they probably have one if you call around or if you get a bunch of people together that want one, they can make it...i think companies like wings west usually want about 50 people

 

Were you at Frank Lloyd Wright/Northsight intersection last weekend night (I think Friday, or maybe saturday or sunday)? I saw a similar 5th gen then... I drive the Pearl White 99 dropped on 17s, with the nice shiny Trenz billett grille on the front?

yeah, i work around there...you probably saw me on saturday because i didn't work friday or sunday...actually saturday was the only day i worked last week...you coming to the meet saturday? i have probably seen your car before but i don't remember it from the weekend...where do you live around?

 

I am over on 40th/T-bird area. Anyway, I started the BBQ post, so yeah, I'm definetely going to be there. Can't wait to check out your ride in person.

i thought about it and i also went over to pinnacle nissan on monday (i take hayden to frank lloyd wright) and i went there on tuesday...i am going back tomorrow to get a little rubber piece from my trunk fixed...i am planning on going there around 1:15 or so in case you want to go down there and meet me

im moving to around phoenix end of summer/early fall so guess i will be in the area also so how is the import scene out there? so u guys gonna welcome another max?

 

import scene is fairly good here...better than expected...yeah i guess we can welcome another max for say...$1000...

 

WTF, I have called Toyo a few times and left messages for my rep, but I am gonna go to a local distributor today and get the price for ya on those, K? Didn't forget about you!!!
