Im not sure if its a broke front pass spring or mount or what but when I go over bumps im actually hearing a "boing" sound like a spring thats vibrating. I looked up in there and the spring doesn't look broke, could it be the upper mount ? any ideas ? the car has 168k PO installed aftermarket struts several years back..

 

To confirm if the strut mounts are shot, open the hood, ask somebody to turn the steering wheel side to side while you watch the strut rod...It should move a little, as the strut mounts is rubber, some movement is expected but...If the movement is very notorious, your strut mounts are shot.
