FS: 2000/01 DEK Genuine OEM clutch and flywheel
I bought a new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and all associated parts last year from a local dealership, and paid about $900 for all of it. It was all 5th gen parts, and they all work on a 4th gen. I'm considering selling it as I'm buying a 3.5 that already has a ACT clutch on it, but only if I can get back a fair amount of money. If not, I will just run them on the 3.5 and see how they hold up.
I installed the clutch/flywheel around July of last year and I doubt they have more than 5,000 miles on them. I spent three days gingerly breaking in the clutch and flywheel, and they grab great now. The only reason I'm considering getting rid of them is because I'm not sure how well they will hold up to 3.5 power levels, and I don't want to ruin them.
I DO NOT drag race or launch my car hard. Although I auto-x, I never launch above 2000 rpm, and I don't dump the clutch. I also never shift hard/fast. You can watch my videos to see for yourself. After many years of learning, I now treat my clutch and transmission with a great deal of respect. It's because of these facts that I feel confidant in selling this pair.
The only way I would sell them is if I can get about $600 for them. I know this isn't something people like to buy used, but they are almost new and were treated very well. Let me know if you're interested. If not, I understand. Thanks for looking.
