Just a few days ago i turned on my car. I put it into reverse and it wouldnt move so i reved the engine and still wouldn't move. so i ended up pushing it while it was in neutral. Later i figured out that 1st gear wasnt working either. I checked my transmission fluid when the car was on and it seemed fine a little black but thats it. Could anyone help me out?

 

Is your check engine light on? Most likely your torque converter will have to be replaced because it isn't engaging, but since the transmission oil is starting to turn black your best bet would be to buy a used transmission and swap it in.
