Need help buying a 5th gen!

Should I buy a 2000 maxima se 5spd, with 189,129 miles, they said it has no mechanical issues or anything as far as I know... so is this to good to be true or should I go for it?

if I said I have oceanfront property in Arizona to sell, would you believe it or get it checked out?

*it's supposedly an SE, but the wheels are NOT the SE wheels that came stock.

*No pics of interior, but it's the cloth...

It's a decent price, but about 500 too high imo. I paid 2700 for my 99SE with 141K on the clock.

Take a look, see how she drives. I'd pay special attention to the rust prone areas...wheel wells, radiator support...etc. Those NE winter conditions are brutal.

Early 00 SE came with those wheels stock.
Go and take a look at it. Miles are high, so you could try to talk the price down.

Those are the 5 spoke GXE 16" wheels...I could be wrong but I've never seen where those were stock on a SE

It's been wrecked in the front. Hood alignment is way off. But it does have a factory SE exhaust. It's too expensive, IMHO.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to wait for a better 5/6spd 5th gen to come up.

Also keep your eyes peeled for an I30/I35. Also very nice cars for not much money.

Yes. Those are 00-01 Maxima GLE wheels. The GXE models come with steel wheels or the one with bunch of small spokes like this:

P.S. I have seen tons of 00 SE Maxima with those wheels.

It's too bad you don't live on the west coast...
