2000 Maxima P1335 code
2000 Maxima P1335 code
Hello all, I know that this thread has been covered and I've read about all of the post. I'm getting a P1335 code on my Maxima. I've replaced the CKPS Ref this weekend, After 45 miles or so the check engine light came back on. When I was on my way home today, the car died and I had to let it sit for s0 minutes or so before it started back up. I had to get the IAC as well as the ECU replaced a little over a month ago due to another code, the car would start and then die. Any suggestions would be appreciate. BTW the car just started again without any problems
Thanks in advance.
Dave

Hey Dennis,
Thanks for the reply. The sensor is a genuine Nissan sensor that I purchased from Courtesy Nissan. K,eep in mind I only replaced the REF and not the POS sensor. If I'm not mstaken you will get a different code "P1336" from what the FSM says. Once I got the car to start again it ran fine. Looking at the FSM it mentions the starter and battery as well as harness and connectors. If it was the starter, I could possibly see it not cranking fast enough to start it, but whats weird is that I was driving and the car started to mis so I turned on a side street and it died. I wouldnt think the starter would cause it to die since it's used for starting only. When i would go to crank it, it sounded fine.
