ISO: decent new or slightly used timing chain

I have a 95 se and I believe its time for a new one. I have a pretty major leak and with my motor age and wear (sitting at 130k) its not worth the taking it apart and not replacing the chain while the cover is off.
Need some help people. Its much appreciated.
Thanks- tim

I have 261k miles on mine and its never been touched. Its made to never have to be replaced, so I wouldnt touch it unless it rattles at start up.

But if you really want to, its the tensioner that needs replaced, not so much the chain.

Rock auto has the chains and tensioners. Ebay has a full kit for $150 or so, but I'm not sure how well it's made.

I believe its starting to rattle. That's what makes me nervous. I drive 45 miles round trip to work so the miles do rack up. But thanks for the help
Has anybody found a decent aftermarket chain?
Much appreciated.

Search "timing chain rattle" in the 4th gen section.

Oh and 130k is nothing.

3.5 swap it with new chains, if you are going to take the motor out.

usually its just the tensioner, not such an easy fix but its doable. Personally i have never changed a water pump or timing chain tensioner while the motor was in the car i just took the L and pulled the thing out.

249,000 and i still have original chain with rattle at start up. your at half that, fix the leak and do a tensioner if you really must waste money. i would'nt do anything but timing cover gasket and water pump if needed.

Thanks guys I appreciate the feedback. I changed the water pump last year when it had 90k on it. My super reliable baby hasn't left me stranded yet (knock on wood) except for the starter but she still started after a couple pounds if a ball hammer.
But I believe I'll buy the tensioner and a new gasket and milk the chain until it decides to break again.
Thanks again

305,000 miles and mine has never been touched.. I feel like everything will keep working if I don't stir up any dust by touching it or unsettling it.. haha
