Strange AC problems

Hello all,

Recently have been having issues with my AC. I just recharged the system and the AC is blowing super cold. However, abotu 2 weeks later the system acts up and blows warm at times.

Seems to alternate between warm air and cold air. Any ideas what I can look into?

I checked under the hood and no leaks (that I can see)

so you recharge, then it is fine for two weeks then acts up again. AT THAT POINT can you recharge again and it be ok for awhile again?

If so, you have a leak

Possibly your A/C is overcharged. Check the low side psi for about ten minutes and see if it goes above 50 PSI.

Thanks, I will go out and get a gauge. If it is overcharged, how do you drain it some?

If it starts to blow warm when it's really hot then blows cold once the temps are down a bit, then it's very possible it's over charged.

Find out if the system is overcharged first.
