Need help with installing the maf sensor on weapon r sri kit.

Has anyone else come across this problem with the SRI kit? The AFM Adaptor plate is only an inch and a half long. So i'm not sure how the MAF sensor and the plug are supposed to be installed on it. I'm also not sure if i'm supposed to use the OEM adaptor plate/pipe with the maf sensor in it to go from the wpr pipe and have this adaptor plate to come from the filter. Some visual help would be much appreciated

edit - Heres the instructions manual for the wpr SRI - http://www.carid.com/images/weapon-r...structions.pdf

IMO Cold air intake is the better way to go, plus you get that beastly growl. Most SRI intakes for "maximas" are universal so idk about this one in particular but that could be the case.

You're supposed to use your OEM MAF pipe as pictured.

Do you really need instructions for this?

I'm just busting your *****.

When they refer to MAF they mean the whole assembly with the housing (pipe), not just the sensor itself. You don't need to unscrew the MAF from the pipe. Just remove the whole assembly, unplug the harness connector. Then put the whole assembly back in the intake, reconnect MAF harness, use adapter plate on the obvious side it would be on (LOL that would be filter side, don't mean to but it really is that simple).

Custom is the way to go though.
