ECM Rebuild
ECM Rebuild
Hey, I am new here. I just bought a 2001 Maxima SE knowing that it needed some work. It has the p0505 code. All the research I have looked at says the IACV and the ECM are done for. I pulled the ECM and sure enough it is burnt up. So, i am looking to send it off to get it repaired. Where do you guys recommend? The two websites that I find appealing are avproecm.com and circuitboardmedics.com. avpro is $250, life time warranty and the chip they put in can tell if the IAC is overloading again, and will basically shut it down so the ecm is protected. circuitboardmedics is $200 with one year warranty. Only prob is avpro only deals with money orders, and their site isnt very professional, is it a scam?? Any way I appreciate any feedback!
IACV i will buy new, if i get a used ecm, the keys need reprogramed, and there is no nissan dealer in town, plus the $100 charge.
How do you fix the IACV?
