Also, should I go ahead and replace the rear at the same time?

All depends on your driving style. Heavy on the gas and hard on the brakes in a lot of stop and go traffic = short brake life. I never change out my brakes as I leave that to by brake shop therefore I cannot recommend a specific brand, although it is recommended to change all four.

I actually just ordered the Hawk HPS. I also went on youtube just out of curiosity and saw that people have loud squealing problems. Anyone else have these pads on stock rotors?

You dont have to change out all 4. No matter how you drive they will wear out at a different pace. Generally the fronts go first. You can take the rear wheel off to look at the exact level. Compare it to the worn out fronts. Doesnt cost that much to do let the brake shop do it just bring your own good pads cause the will use cheap pads and charge you more of course.

I have to agree. Ive been working on cars for over 20 years and brake pads on most cars wear out at different rates. Not only are the front and rear pads different thickness from the beginning, the abs and proportioning valve in the system always adds a front bias. Check the car before you start changing parts. If money is no object go crazy and change pads and rotors or upgrade to big brake kit for that matter. I cannot tell you how many people come in thinking they need brakes and its brake dust or a rust build up, or lack of lubrication. Take the time and inspect what you got before you spend $ on parts. Ive seen people install parts and have another component be the cause of the failure (ie a stuck, or sticky caliper, collapsed brake hose) and a week later have to have the car repaired .....AGAIN! Best of luck. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
