quick question about coils on rockauto.com

I've got a 2000 and am in need of new coils, I've searched and saw that rockauto.com has good prices. My question is are the beck arnley and Hitachi ones the same as the dealership ones? I can get them for about $80 through a friend at the dealer but rockauto has them for $55 for beck arnley. Just want to make sure before I order them. Thanks

I'm pretty sure Hitachi is OEM for coils. Beck/Arnley is not.

Get Denso

I got the Denso coil packs for my '00 GLE, which are the upgraded ones with the "grey dots" that were issued to replace the faulty originals (Hitachi). RockAuto has the Denso's for around $62 each. Have put about 3,500 miles on the replacements and they are working fine.

Great thanks, one more question, all the show for those is left or right and I need the rear so which is it? I know it has something to do with if it was rear wheel drive there is left or right but not sure how to convert that.
Thanks

Joe, Hitachi is owned by Nissan. Ordered all six( part # 22248) 3 top, 3 side mount for $280 from shop, same part as stealership sells for $660 for all. Hitachi for sure.

Other way around

I think it is the other way around. Image is from FSM page EM-41. Engine front, when viewed from front bumper is on the left (timing chain cover side)

This is important, as stated in other posts, because the coil packs are different.
