So I have some issues with my 6 speed tranny in my 03 maxima. I need to replace the synchros. Any one done this? How hard is it? And is there a place to get a synchro kit? Or a tranny rebuild kit. Thanks in advance.

Depends on your experience level and equipment you have access to. You ever been inside a transmission before? Do you have access to a press, snap ring pliers, drifts, etc?
Yes, all sorts of places. A search would likely find some, or just get them from the dealer.

My dad owns a 5 bay mechanic shop with 5 lifts and 4 huge snap on tool boxes loaded with goodies. Tools aren't the issue. Very good mechanic skills. Every tool you can think of. But never messed with a tranny before.
