Do Not Buy Rain-X Latitude

I had a set of Trico wiper blades which lasted almost 2 years working perfectly, no streaking, and no squeaking. Driving in the rain and blade rolled so it was no longer functioning very well, I pulled in the parts store and the only high end wipers they were not sold out of in our size was the rain-x latitude. I have always loved rain-x glass treatment so I figured I would try them out... The 28" blade for the drivers side is very flimsy, not much structural rigidity. It doesn't make contact through its entire length infact probably only about 18" in the middle actually makes good contact with the windshield. Even the 18" that has good contact, doesnt work well, the blades are squeaking already (2 weeks in) and streaking, going to see if I can take them back.

Maybe ya'll have had good experiences with these, I'm just sharing this bad one.

I've had them on for a little over a month and have no complaints.

Good to hear...I've bought different more expensive wipers blades & they all started chattering about the same time if not a just little longer as the Bosch ones that I get for a little over $10. They would wipe correctly, but if I hear chatter it really annoys me. So now I just keep getting the middle of the road blades.

I used to go with the factory Bosch blades too but they only lasted about 6 months or so I figured factory is good right ? Nope repeat customers yes . The rain x wipers probably work better with the heavy snow sometimes too . Here in Florida they last way longer due to the constant heat .

I have rain x on my car and I have no issues with them and I am going 2yrs with them now... One bad batch doesn't make them the worst thing in the planet, it's just simply a bad batch that's all nothing in this world is perfect whether it be $1 or $1 trillion plain and simple.

ive had the lattitudes for over a year now. at first they were amazing obviously, anything new should work well. recently ive started to notice the driver side one doesnt make contact with the windshield fully and has an inch gap where it leaves rain. also noticed the same thing, if you lift the wipers like when you're expecting snow/ice the driver side one sags pitifully. i dont expect these things to last forever, but im probably going to try a diff brand next time around just to experiment.

I've tried them twice but always go back to the icons. Granted I only get 6 months use out of the icons but only got 3 months out of the Latitudes (especially as it rains almost everyday!)
