Question bout vibration

I have 10 maxima. I have a slight vibration in the driver side around the tire area. It is noticeable around 40 mph n slightly more at 80. It feels as it comes n goes like a pattern but is continuous. I'm thinking its the axle or wheel bearing. I've ruled out the fluid in the cvt, tires, and brakes. Any help is appreciated.

Start by checking that your lug nuts are torqed otherwise yes it does sound like it could be a wheel bearing or if you had the tires changed and possibly not balanced properly?

Vibration

Not tires. Is the wheel bearing hard to replace? Is it pressed in?

From what i see it's one assembly for your hub and bearing no need to press em. You should check with your dealership first to see if it's still covered under your powertrain warranty.

Visit the dealer. Bearings are 5/60. That's probably not it though.

My front drivers side bearing was shot. 100 for a Timken Bearing on line and about 1.5 hours. Impact wrench and a wobble extension socket make it a dream.

How do you know its not the tires? Probably 90% of vibration problems are wheel balance or out of round tires.

Bad bearings typically make a humming sound, not vibrations from what I've heard.

Bent wheel is definitely a possibility too. Lift the front end and give the wheels a spin. Look at the inside of the rim really carefully while you or someone else spins them.

The rims and tires have been changed. It is a humming but you can feel the vibration in the floor. I bet most people wouldn't notice. The comes n goes like cars passing by on a race track. Thanks for help.

you could just hear the growl, couldn't really feel it, just could hear it.

When I took the bearing off it was rough to roll. Obviously bad, big question is do I do the other side?
