Good deal in Nashua, NH area

Looking to buy my 2k2 max. Anyone have any dealer stories... (good/bad) in the southern NH or northern MA area?

Dealer, salesperson, and price paid (if you don't mind telling) would be good.

thanks,

The cheapest place i've seen is Quirk Nissan in Braintree
Ma.
Just don't EVER EVER EVER have any service/bodywork done at any
Quirk dealership!
Ask them for a quote on their web site, it will be cheaper than
haggling with one of their short term salespeople.

(I assume by now you have figured out I have no use for them
other than good price!)

Kelly Nissan in Lynnfield is a pretty nice place.
I got my 01SE there back in August, and i thought the peopel there were nice, and their prices were lower than others I've seen.
I would like to mention to yo uto stay away from Rockingham Nissan in Salem NH. Those guys are liars, thieves, and just plain a**holes.

Good Luck,
Hotnicks

Rockingham Nissan story

I already went there because it's about 0.5 miles from my house. The saleswoman:

1) never asked my name, and didn't offer me a seat,
2) didn't let me see the inside of a car (I asked and she said 'no'),
3) when asked "how much for the car?" she said "I don't know" and handed me a photocopied page of their price list,
4) when asked "If I order one now, when can I expect it to come in?" she said "Oh, I couldn't tell you that. It could be a few days to a month or two."

I left after that and called the manager...no reaction to a bad review of his employees... I'll never go back.

This dealership (http://www.marlboro-nissan.com/information-welcome.html)is very well-known in Xterra circles. I found out about him when I was thinking about buying an Xterra. Seemed to be an honest guy. Saw many happy customers of his at the Xterra board at http://voy.com/14174/.

You should be able to get a 2K2 Max for Invoice minus $1,000 rebate. I just helped my father-in-law get one last week (in NJ).

Good luck!

I bought my new Altima at Glick Nissan in Westboro, MA. Went through the Internet department and had a great experience. The Internet Sales Manager gave me a great deal on the Altima when most other dealers wouldn't come down from sticker. Fill out the quick quote form on their website, www.glicknissan.com, and see what you get. Saw my salesman deliver a 2k2 Maxima SE to a happy customer just this past weekend.

When I was shopping for my Altima, I first went to Marlboro Nissan. Met with the Internet guy, the guy who claims to be all nice and everything. He gave off that car-salesman-who-will-say-anything-to-make-a-sale vibe. He also lied to me and said that Nissan was not allowing them to sell the new Altima below sticker for 6 months after release, and that they would probably hold full sticker for a full year. I'm tempted to drive by the lot in my new Altima, wave my receipt for $2k off sticker in his face, and ask him what "Nissan" thought about that.

Sorry, just had to vent. I had an awful experience with Marlboro Nissan and would not recommend it to anybody.

I searched the entire northern Mass southern NH area when I was buying last spring, by far the best deal I could get was at Team Nissan in Manchester, I am trying to remember the sales persons name and I really can't, it was a blonde woman about 25-28 yrs old, she was great, all in all Team Nissan was about 1500 cheaper than all the other dealers that I spoke with from Worchester to Boston to Manchester... All in all the car came to about 150 under invoice when it was all said and done and there was no hassle and no annoying sales people joining you on your test rides. good luck

I would have to agree... Went to Rockingham when I first started looking last spring, I could not believe how rude they were, they did everything but laugh when I (a 22 year old at the time)started asking about the AE. Their first remark "you know, the GXE is a lot less expensive and we have a black one of THOSE in stock" yea...thanks

I grew up in Hudson, lived in Nashua, and bought a home in Salem. Which college do you go to?

Guess I should have warned you about Rockingham a little earlier.
Sounds like all the other Rockingham stories I've heard and experienced!

Glick Nissan was great

I bought my 2k SE there when 2k's with a 5 speed were hard to find. They knew they were the only dealer in new england with a 2k 5sp black on black leather and loaded (I must have called 10 or 20 dealerships looking of this car at the time) and I was still able to negotiate a reasonable deal with them. I had a good experience there.
