Gauge help please!

Ok so here's what happened. Let a friend drive the car. He hits the f*ck out of a curb. With the front left tire. We just replaced the axle control arm inner and outer tie rods. The abs cable did rip. I spliced it back together till the new one comes in. Finally get all the parts on start the car and my fuel gauge is pinned all the way to the top. Of course speedo is out. The rpm gauge gets stuck at whatever rpm it feels like getting stuck at. And my temp gauge is only on the first bar. I know the abs cable should take care of the speedo and maybe the tach but idk. But what's going in with my other gauges!!!!

Maybe, either from the accident or repair, some wiring may have been damaged besides the ABS sensor. Was anyone messing around under the dash and maybe messed with the connectors on the back of the instrument cluster?

The gas gauge circuitry is in between the dash and the fuel tank, it doesn't go under the hood. This problem falls in line of someone messing under the dash.

You didn't say what year the car is. There are some big differences, so if you don't find some wire damage or loose connections, you will need to let us know what year your car is. Sorry, we're not psychics.

Ya my bad it's an 03. And no one was under the dash I know they weren't. I left it at my friends house and he just took of all the damaged parts. An o2 sensor cable did get ripped as well but I know that wouldn't affect a thing retaining to this.

First got o your friends house and beat the **** out of him, second you will have to inspect everything on the impact side, then replace everything that is damage. Once you do that, everything should go back to normal.
