Never wash my rims again?

I found this product at home depot and wondered if it was safe to use on my rims?

Thoughts?

I doubt it, but call their 1-800 and see if they encourage you to try?

A rust product and I wouldn't use this....your rims are painted, just clean and wax regularly.

I highly doubt that will work but there's a new product out there, called opti-coat. it works similar to a wax but the benefit of it is it lasts for a few years. the only way to take off this "clear" coat, is by polishing it out. checkout the thread on it at www.revscene.net . a member on there describes his application procedure and how by rinsing with water, it gets off a few months worth of built up brake dust on a bmw rim (bmw are notorious for nasty brake dusts)...

I have yet to try it as I had had chromes on my previous ride, which is easy to clean off brake dust, and had planned on plasti-dipping it black instead...

That stuff hazes on surfaces from what I understand and actually is easy to remove. Not worth the trouble.
