Have you read the stickies yet? Plenty of performance mods listed there.

You do realize that Stillen ypipes have been discontinued for a very long time. Maybe once a year does a used one pop up for sale in the classifieds.

Even the Greddy SP2 is discontinued, but every couple of months one pops up for sale in the classifieds.

Yep, sure is. The ypipe is the best bang for your buck performance mod IMO.

I went with Kensei, (Ebay) cat back and its held up great. 2.5", mandrel bent. All you need to do really when you buy is get some better gaskets.

look on Youtube "Chrisman287 Ebay cat-back", pretty much same deal

Also, what year is your car? Federal spec or California?

Your location is irrelevant. Gotta check the plate on the firewall.

Not the catback exhaust, but definitely the ypipe. There are two versions of ypipes...Fed Spec and CA Spec.

When it comes to catback systems though, be careful that you're looking at 95/96 vs 97-99 catbacks as there are slight differences.. ie tip placement and O2 bung

I just realized that you said you have a 96 Maxima. CA vs Fed spec doesn't matter in your case. It only matters for the 99 Maxima owners.

No worries. When I hear CA vs Fed spec, my brain instantly thinks 99 Maxima. My bad too.

I hope to receive my WS Y-pipe this week. I already have the old one off the car.

If you plan to DIY, check out this thread and link to a sticky doc for Y-Pipe swap.

I'll be painting mine like Max Ride. The only super high temp paint I can get in my little burb is VHT.

Thank you. I have a Black 1999 SE 5-speed.

I think I ordered the pipes a couple of weeks ago. Dallas at WS indicated the pipes would ship on Monday this week when I emailed him on Thursday.

We had a tornado in the central AR area this week that destroyed some trucks along I-40 in addition to houses and a new school so I know trucking deliveries in my area may be running slow this week.

ummm, no that would indicate a problem with the front suspension, end links, etc. or a plain re balance of the weights on the wheel.
