Supposedly, installing the Maestro RR in your 7th gen will allow you to see (and maybe control) climate info on a aftermarket head unit (Alpine or Kenwood) thus the amber screen can relinquish its hold on you and your maxima.

Who is in?

 

Looks like a no go. Only really allows steering wheel controls and gauges based on the ODBII plug. I looked through the installation instructions and it has nothing wired into the HVAC controls.

 

Would of been nice if this had worked for the HVAC controls
