96 Infiniti I30t 5-speed part out

Hi all,

I have a 96 Infiniti I30 5-speed VSLD (203k miles)which I love, but has a lot of small problems. It has cross member rust, the heated seats, and seats dont move. The motors are good, and can be moved with a battery, but the switches are bad.

Anyway, mechanically it runs great. The engine is solid, the transmission is flawless, and has the rare limited slip dif. It has a year old Greddy SP2 catback, and the nice BBS wheels with 50% tires. New brakes and rotors all around, new rear calipers and ebrake cables.

Buy the entire running, driving car for $1000. If i part it out:

I would like to get $500 for the engine and trans, and everything else that is under the hood.

Engine alone, $300, Trans alone $300.

Best way to reach me is text message, asking what specifically, you want.

I would require you come and remove what you want off the car (preferably a Saturday or Sunday). If you want the engine, I have a hoist, otherwise bring your own tools, and have fun.

I have some prices in mind, and this is not a charity, so nothing is free or a lowball special. I will allow you to do the initial negotiating.

Forum rules. Prices must be posted or the thread will be closed.

Start with listing a price for the engine and transmission, since that will initiate the full part out it seems. Thanks

Bump..Put more money in the car, but found a better, cleaner, newer one. This car would probably go for another 100k miles with very little.

Wow. my slightly older twin, right down to the color. What other minor issues besides the rad support and power seats?

GLWS.

Nothing really. There is rust on the bottom of the front fenders. The interior is no longer "plush" but more on the dry side.

The sunroof leaks, but I sealed it with outdoor clear tape.

In the last two years I replaced the struts, LCA's, other miscelaneous bushings, replaced A/C compressor with a used replacement and belts.

The car is a really good runner. I love it, I wish it was cosmetically more pleasing so I could justify keeping it.
