not too hard

When I was shopping for a car last year, I came across a few. Pick up and Autoshopper magizine, you know those free books you find at diners and such. They help alot.

I have a black 95 with black leather and I don't believe they are that hard to come across. Strange enough my new roommate this semester used to drive and exact duplicate of my car except he didn't have a sunroof wind deflector. Just look around and you will find one.

If you live in cali, talk to MaximaZac (or maybe it's SentraZac?), he's selling his ca-spec '99 5-speed.

I basically have the car that you described...I had to drive from Rochester, NY to Cleveland, OH to get it though. I couldn't find many 5sp's around here. I didn't really care about the exterior color (just not white or biege), and wanted a 5sp SE with black leather interior.

Cleveland was the closest one that I could find at the time.

If your are looking for a apecific car you will probably have to look in a little wider area and be patient. In my area we have a huge classified magazine with hundreds of listings under Nissan and usually 4 or 5 5-speed Maximas, the mag covers all of New England but most of the cars are within about 75 miles of Boston. Maybe theres something similer in your area.

You could leave your name with local dealers and tell them what you want, of course you will not get a geat deal at a dealer.

I was looking for a black SE 5-speed also, but settled for my Sage Mist Green, I think I like this better than the black now, but I wish it didn't have the beige interior.

I drove only 100 miles to get mine. You will be able to find a black on black 5 speed. Also 5 speeds are not that rare, if you do a search in you area on Autotrader I bet you could find several.

Took me a while to find my 97 SE 5 speed. It depends on where you are, I'd guess. Websites are good (autotrader.com, usedcars.com), but you have to check constantly. Also check the classifieds of several local newspapers. When I was looking, at any given time there were usually around 5 cars within 250 miles that fit my criteria. Be patient... you'll find one.

The biggest pain is the 5 speed. It took me a few months to find one but dont giev up. It is worth it.

i gots me one

honestly id say go for a 96, this might sound stupid its just my opinion, but 95 is the first year of the 4th gen, and with any car it seems their first year of a new generation has the most kinks in it, and i have had a decent amount of things go wrong, not enuff where i would ever think of sellin it, but i think a 96 might be cleaned up a tad bit, i could be wrong though, could be exact same car, but 95 and 96 are supposedly the quickest, mine is quick , so go for it, i love em
