Tire opinions needed and sizes
Ready for new tires now on my 12' Max but don't know what to go with. I like the Continental DWS but still looking for another tire choice. Another thing I need opinions on is for size. I have the 18x8" V double spoke style wheels with Factory tire size 245/45/18. I'm a noob when it comes to tires so don't bash on me too much lol.. So opinions on possibly wider like 255 and a 40 profile and a little stretch to the tire as well.. will this have any effects on my car? If stretch requires a smaller tire then ill pass on that because the current track is small enough. Ill post a pic of the type of stretch I like.

Stretch requires narrower tires. The opposite of getting a wider tire.
245 is generally the widest tire recommended for an 8" wide wheel.
If you go wider, you increase side wall roll over during cornering.
The DWS is a great tire.

Darn! The other day at my Nissan dealer I seen a new 2014 370z with 275 rear that had a some stretch to it, 19x10 rim.. Anyways how about profile, 245/40?
All wheels look better when the car is lowered.
If you want safe, comfortable, every day driving...
A 20x8.5 et35-40 with 245/35/20 and that will have vertical sidewalls.
The same goes for a 19" wheel and 245/40/19.
You can get into wider wheels, different offsets, stretching tires more...but it gets more complicated.
