What is the best leather cleaner?

Sup guys,
I can't find a good leather cleaner. Most of the products I find seem to make the leather really shiny, but once the sun gets to it, it seems to make the leather look faded and "dry". Any good products any of you guys can recommend?

What products have you tried, or come to close to what you desire? I'm not entirely catching you're saying - so in the shade the leather looks greasy, but in the sun it looks dry? Can't be one or the other can it?

With most leather cleaning products, make sure you lather the product with a soft bristle brush then wipe off the excess. Continue if need be, but after the cleaning phase is complete you will need to apply a conditioner. The conditioner is what will reduce the wear and tear and its effects and rejuvenate the leather back to its original color. Apply the conditioner in the same notion, but allow it to dwell (this is based on each product, but most will require a dwelling time).

Refer to auto detailing specific forums such as AutoGeek to get a comprehensive review on products. Many of them include photos to show the results.

I think you just aren't doing it right. I typically use Leather Honey Cleaner to clean out the debris on the surface and then apply Leather Honey Conditioner to give it a give coating. When your leather is faded, it means the conditioner is gone/bad. I've done a lot of research before picking a cleaner/polisher. This site definitely helped if you're interested: http://www.theleathercleaner.org
