How long you go w/o changing oil?
Full Synthetic is usually still good pass 6,500 miles. You'll be good. Probably should just invest in Mobile1 Extended Performance rated for 15,000 Miles or 1 year and just change your oil every year.
+1 for Mobil1 EP. I used it on my 95 maxima and went 15k miles between changes and got 266k out of it. It had synthetic from the beginning. Virtually no leakage through seals and no oil burning over the life the car.
In my '09 I used to drive about 25k a year and changed it every 7500 miles when under warranty. Now that it's out of warranty, I don't drive nearly as much so I have moved to the 15k or 1 year, whichever comes first.

I believe the factory recommends 7500 miles between changes, which is about what I run.
I wouldn't worry about going a bit over once in a while.
New BMW's have oil life readouts that are pretty sophisticated. If you take your BMW in for an oil change before the system tells you to, the BMW techs will tell you not to waste your money.
No worries. This isn't the bad old days when 3 months, 3000 miles was essential to avoid melting your engine. New engines are better and oil is better too, especially the synthetic stuff.

Agree with this post.
Mobil 1 full synthetic will still be in good shape after 15K on paved roads with normal driving conditions. If I pulled trailers, climbed mountains, drove aggressively, did lots of short trips or stop and go driving, drove a lot on dusty or muddy unpaved roads, or lived in a very hot or very cold climate, I would reduce the mileage between changes. But 7500 should always be OK.
Per the owners manual, Nissan Ester oil should be good for 7500 under normal driving conditions. Assuming regular Mobil 1 is just as good as Ester oil, then 7500 should be fine. The Mobil 1 Extended Performance (EP) states that you can safely go 15k/12 months between changes. If there is a breakdown and the oil can be blamed, then Mobil1 pays for it. The EP is just a few dollars more and IMO is worth the investment.
I left off the EP when I was mentioning Mobil 1. As NCSUpilot said, the 15K is with the EP version of Mobil synthetic.
Regular Mobil 1 syhthetic should probably be changed at 7500, although I would not be adverse to running a little past that mileage if doing very normal driving on good roads, especially if doing mostly open road driving.
