Which brand LEDs fit?

I'm planning on swapping out all of the overhead interior and door lights to LEDs, along with the license plate lights. I want the lighting to have a pure white look, like the lighting you see in newer Lexus and Cadillac vehicles (not the blue look that some aftermarket LEDs give off). I had a hard time locating a LED bulb small enough to fit in the housing for the license plate light on my other car. So I don't want to order a bunch of LEDs and they not end up fitting on the Maxima.

Which vendors/brand LEDs will fit fine in the Maximas without any problems?

I'm also looking at getting the LED trunk light from Racingline. Does anyone here have it? Is it a good product?

I got a set for a maxima on amazon for cheap. They work well. They were called tech and cost like $5. There is not much to them and most every bulb is the same except for license plate and vanity mirrors. Those I found on amazon too. I saw that racing line one too and it looks awesomely bright...then I thought of how little I actually go in my trunk at night in the dark not in my garage! Happy with I got thus far and they have lasted well. Beware that they attract bugs like crazy compared to the regular OEM bulbs like a bug light!

Only place I've found to have the pure white (5000k) color is VLEDs. Most of the LEDs in my car are from them and I think they're the best. They are on the higher end pricing-wise, but you get what you pay for. Even advised a customer at work (I'm the Delivery Coordinator for an Infiniti dealer) to get them for his G37.

If the lights are the same in the Maxima, you don't want the flank style, except maybe for the courtesy lighting that illuminate the ground when you open the door but I'm not certain.

trust me, the vleds are super bright white output. I got 6000k ones so it has a slight blue tinge to it. I went with 194s for all the exterior and interior bulbs and it brightens up the interior very well. the license plate ones I think are a little too bright, but oh well...

Does every bulb (map, overhead, doors, and floorboard) in the Maxima use 194s? Do you happen to have pics anywhere online showing your interior at night? I'm curious to see the difference the LEDs make.

Also, do you have any better pics showing your APS grille? I'm interested in getting one for my Maxima.

All of the interior lights will take a 194 LED bulb - the dome lights, floorboard, door courtesy light, glovebox, trunk, and license plate. As for the exterior, a 194 will also fit for the side marker lights. I have LEDs throughout the interior of my car except for the glovebox, it is the most difficult to get to, but the ones I purchased on eBay are 6000K temperature. They look dimmer than stock, but not by a whole lot, the dimness beats the yellow incandescent. Get a quality LED and it will be much brighter than stock.

Did you go with the VLED bulbs that contain 6 LEDs or 4 LEDs? Maybe it's the picture, but the license plate bulbs look incredibly bright.

they are the single led only. I guess its discontinued now, as I am on their website and it only shows the bulb available in amber and not in 6000k white. this is the exact bulb I have but in 6000k, which I used for license plate and interior...

Which other LEDs are you all using for the license plate lights? I know VLEDs are good quality since I've used them in the past. I would like something that fits in the license plate bulb socket, yet isn't so bright that my plate can be read from a 1/2 mile away.

Bumping this up. Can you all post links to the exact LEDs that you were able to use for the license plate bulbs?

I have bought LEDs in the past on different cars, and they were too large to fit some bulb housings. I want to be sure and order bulbs that will fit correctly.
