Koni or KYB??? Eibach or H&R?

Hi guys. I planning on getting new shocks and springs and I was wondering which ones are better. Koni or KYB? Eibach or H&R? Thanx for the help.

H&R/Koni combo works great for me. If you go with Koni shocks you'll need to modify front OEM strut housings for Koni inserts. I believe AGXs are plug & play, no modifications needed.
H&Rs are softer springs, where Eibachs are a little stiffer.

Koni all the way

Konis cost a bit more because they are way better then KYBs we all know that but if money is the issue then go with KYB, HR good ride not good drop or lets say fender well gap is out of hand so is Eibach, I just cant stand a Maxima with all that fender well gap. How about Sprints. Go with HR if money is the issue as well.

the agx has the same price as the konis. konis are better but you have to modify the housing.
and I think european spring are better, no offense though.
if u have a little more money buy g.control.
peace.

AAAh Ground Controls are coilovers not lowering springs, so thats a totally different story, as KYBs you must have got ripped off KYB go for $380 and konis go for $475 shipped, so your wrong they dont cost the same. Check again and see.

thanx a lot for the help, but I have one more question... I know that both the Konis and KYBs are adjustables, but are they both adjusted the same way? Are they easy to adjust? thanx

i say if you just want to drive street then dont get adjustables, u dont really need to spend the money there.
if he goes with a low drop like sprints wont he need to adjust camber and stuff

I got B+G springs for $161 shipped. I havent installed them yet but I hear they're comparable ride quality to H&R and have a lower drop (1.6 inches).

I have the Konis and the only thing I hate is that you need to take apart the rear suspension to adjust them while the Agx, all you have to do is turn a ****.

Go with the KYB AGX's and B+G springs. Price and quality what more can you ask for.

haven't tried either of the struts, but I've H&R's and wouldn't trade em for any other; the drop isn't real big but it's right for me. car still rides good.

Again, it depends on where you live. If you live in a city like Boston and NYC with crappy roads forget about GCs. My H&Rs give me enough bruises on my A$$ after a couple of hours in downtown Boston.

Plus the AGX adjust for both compression and rebound. Koni adjust only rebound. AGX are better value for the money. I have several customers that switched from Koni to the AGX..

Cattman is running a deal 345 for all four KYBs, until Friday, if I were you I'd jump on it
