I always underestimate my car so predict what should happen

Tale of the tape

96 GXE Auto
JWT Popcharger
Cattman Y Pipe
RT Cat

Him:

94 Prelude Si (Non VTECH)

if u go up agaisnt a fairly souped up prelude - u will still own....preludes have very little torque and the only thing that gets them off the line is light car

Are we talking about a win right away (2 lengths lead during 0-60), or are we talking Ill pull away when we hit 80 or so?

A 94 prelude SI is exactly the same weight as a Maxima is.

Your wheels will hurt you in this race. If he has average or above average driving skills my money is on him. Prelude SIs have a much broader torque band than both S and VTEC do. Their peak torque is identical to the VTEC, but if you look at a dyno plot of one you will see what I mean when I say it is broader. They are mid 15 second cars stock with a good driver.

Yeah great point, that's exactly what I was worried about.

Ive seen stock Prelude Si's with average drivers run 15.7s.
