Question what is the best jacking location

hi all,
I am wanting to do some maintenence on my 2011 max & I am no sure what the best location is to use the floor jack?? i would also like to know where you guys prefer to put the stands under the car as well??

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

It basically depends on the location of the car you're planning to work on but I mainly use the metal guard that's about an inch & half under the door well. Just look under the under car & you'll see it going from the front of the car to the back. That's the best place IMO to lift your car because it sits inside the grooves of the jack.

Also I always recommend if you're doing long periods of work on your car to definitely use floor stands. It secures it where as a jack can possibly roll out from underneath the car

doooohh!!! anyways I will look in the area recommended & I also typically use jackstands. My main purpose for this is for changing the oil, but I want to do other stuff as well- like modifications....
