Y-pipe ?

Im thinkin about gettin a Warpspeed but wondering if its worth it over the cattman and the power gains against the cattman would differ enough to notice ? Im also wondering will the Y-pipe bolt right on to the stock cat ?

You have been on this board since feab 2001 and you did not use the search function.

yes the y-pipe will bolt directly to the cat.

The other question was answered about 8 days ago. Seach is your friend

Since when is the Cattman pipe cheaper than the WSP? The WSP pipes range from $299 for TIG welded, mandrel bent stainless, to $195 for the non-mandrel bent aluminized. The Cattman pipe is $399.

Both will bolt up to your stock cat.

I have the warpspeed and do not see a point in spending the extra $$$ for the same thing.

Re: Y-pipe ?

I was just wondering if there is a power difference between WSP and Cattman that will be noticed if I buy either one ??

Supposedly it was fixed. But people still say they get them.

How I got my Y

I just regularly check the cattman site, in the specials section, here;

http://www.cattman.com/specials.shtml

Once, the y-pipe was in there. I JUMPED on it. They even said I got the last one on special. Those Ys must have gone real fast at that price

I was the one who dynoed.

And in my dyno Warpspeed put up 0.8hp more, but this is negliable cause of %error and other factors, such as air temperature and cool off time.

One thing that you can see from the graph is that Warpspeed's Y-pipe has a little more power in the lower rpms, but Cattman's Y-pipe has more power in the high end.

Warpspeed: Red
Cattman : Blue
