Racingline y-pipe, stillen rear section exhaust, resonator?
Alright guys I need some exhaust advice. I got the Racingline ypipe, and the stillen mufflers. I love the way it sounds but it's still a little quiet for me. Stillen wants $359 for the rest of the catback, way to pricey for me. So I'm thinking about getting a high flow resonator. Possibly magnaflow? I want to avoid drone and raspy-ness and get a nice deep tone. Any advice is appreciated.
I have the racing line y-pipe and full stillen catback exhaust. I love it, but it Is quieter than I was expecting when I first bought it. Sounds great, but it's not loud. Personally I really like it, and I think it's pretty appropriate for our car, but if you like it to sound aggressive i'd look at something else.
I have the RL y-pipe as well and am in the same dilemma. The rest of the exhaust is stock, and I am debating having a custom b-pipe mated to the stock mufflers. Wish Cattmann made a b-pipe for our cars
A high flow resonator is a good investment.
I had magnaflow mufflers with no resonator, and there was too much drone for me. I installed a generic high flow resonator off of ebay and it was a lot better. It did make the exhaust quieter over all as well though.
