How are your mounts? Check them. Or is the SES light on?

Mine kind of slams sometimes, I am replacing the mounts next weekend. My front lower is shot.

What can happen, the engine and trans will rock and it feels like it slams.

I would also suggest the insert, mine looks very new (just bought my car a month ago) and it is bad.

I took my car to 2bdifferent mechanic and they said mounts are good. Shifting gear is issue from tranny.
Is it a valve body issue ?

Check for mounts, make sure no codes. How long ago was the rebuilt ? If they install a VBX valve body it could be no good. Most of the Maxima 5sp auto, harsh shifts is valve body related.

It was rebuilt 2 years ago.
Mounts are good....
I been having this issue after 1 year warranty was expired.
Since its been banging for 1 year now. Do I need to rebuilt the tranny again ?

If mounts are good and no codes than it probably the transmission, if they put a rebuilt valve body in your trans it may not last long, every time i rebuild these kind of transmission i always buy a brand new VB from Nissan even though it cost more but they sure work on the 1st try and last longer than a year or 2. Keep in mind that this transmission is not a bad tranny but the VB are very high failure rate.
