Megan Lowering Springs 2" Drop DONE

Went to a shop to get the 2" drop done. Rear bolts had to be cut out and replaced. I don't have a lift or a cutting tool for so I said F it. Megan springs and struts pack from eBay ($360 I believe). Sits even, not too low. It's perfect. It's a DD so I don't need to get coilovers. Not too bouncy, or stiff. These are cell pics for now, so it won't do much justice in seeing the height comparison in person. I don't have the before comparison, my apologies. I paid $450 to get it done, but was given the range of $350-$450. Too high or fair?

looks nice for its price u can't beat that, I dont know if that looks like 2", more maybe 1.75.. Not too sure though. Overall nice price for the drop while keeping costs low.

I got mine lowered with 15 inch rims on h&R and KYB for $1000, but this was at a high end shop that got the parts for me..got my bearings replaced and other components they replaced to make it quiet. They did a fantastic job. 1.5" inch drop all around. Parts were $750ish, labor $175, then Tax was $90 or something.
I dont like too low cause its bad for the car, looks silly to me.. destroys axles much quicker..With the drop I have I am able to not worry about anything breaking on me but have a nice look with nice ride.

Looks like you installed some Nankangs. I did as well ... about 500 miles ago. To date, I have 0 (zero) complaints.

JoshG, sounds like a fair price with all the parts included. I used to have the honeycomb 15's until I finally put on 18's. My axles are literally shot to hell.

Turbobink, I love your car it's so mint. I've those pics in another thread. I purchased these Nankangs because they were the cheapest set I could find online ($300). So far they are great. No issues yet. Got them done a month ago.
