Does the 1999 maxima have heated converters?

Hi everyone motor vehicle says my car fails inspection overall because under heated catalytic converters it says unsupported. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't it just mean the vehicle doesn't come with them? I'm confused and ignorant to emissions systems in geberal, can someone help me out?

Heated O2 sensors, not heated Catalytic converters.
How did they inspect your car, just a simple scan of your OBDII port or did they put a sniffer in your tail pipe?

Thanks for the response. No, they only used the reader no sniffer. I asked them about that and they said they don't use a sniffer on these cars.... I dunno.

Actually yes, they scanned your OBDII port lol. You have a service engine soon yellow light that you need to take care of. Replace your heated O2 sensors and done.

Sorry I'd answer sooner but this capcha **** isn't working properly. No my cel light. Isn't on and I don't know if the bulb is burnt out or missing I just bought this car and it's just full of surprises for me. Happens, as long as. I can just get them taken care of.

well in ignition mode all the lights should appear, If some are missing, CEL is the most common one, then its either burnt out or has no bulb.. should of checked to see if all of them were working. how many miles does it have?
