99 fog light bulb spec?

I have an I30, 99, owners manual says 55 watt for the fog light but no bulb number- whats that about? don't all bulbs have numbers? But fog lights do not have bulb numbers?
I looked on oreilley web site and it looked like the fog light is sold with a socket and a wire pigtail several inches long???!@#$^&&
this seems unusual to me
