Has anyone change the interior and license plate bulbs to L.E.D ones? I have been looking local to me here Jersey and not finding the bulbs in any store.

 

I've swapped over to LED's in my 3rd gen. If you can get in touch with amerikaner he could probably make you a custom kit. He made one for all my door panels, map lights, trunk, plate and dome. I wound up using an 8 " LED cobb light for my plate i got off ebay though. It's got an aluminum frame and gives iff alot of light. Only reason i did that for the plate is because the screws and bracket etc. for my stock plate lights were pretty seized and rusted so i wound up removing them when i had some extensive body restorations but otherwise i used everything else from his kit and he's a good guy to deal with and is trustworthy.

 

Yeah I ordered my LEDs from vleds.com. They have quality products and are crazy bright.

 

Bulb size is 194. I agree with the above but I got one of those cheap kits from Amazon for $22 I think and still going strong 3 years later

My personal opinion don't do any colors, I got the blue once but when using the dome lights it was just too much in Ya face. I would do the dome always white, and if u wanted color id keep that for the footwells

Same as the license plate, do only white. For one it's illegal any other color here in mass, I don't know your state laws, and 2 any other color looks rice anyway

 

I'm looking for a bright white or something similar to 8k type of brightness
