Mevi manifold

Can anyone tell me if there are any major mods to changing to an mevi manifold swap? Where can I get it tuned

No major mods in changing to the MEVI manifold. It's near plug n play. Tuning is not required.

Hey I appreciate the manual. I've read a lot of guys changing injectors and coils etc. is al of those things necessary as well?

No. Not sure where you're getting this bad info from....maybe you're confusing the MEVI manifold with the 00VI manifold...

The MEVI manifold itself is Plug N Play. the only thing you may need a vacuum line reducer or "T" adapter, depending on how your Throttle Body is. Once you go install it, you'll see what I mean.

Not mandatory, but it's recommended you change the Throttle Body gasket, EGR gasket, IACV gasket, and Upper to Lower Manifold gasket when doing the swap.

Don't forget, you need a way to activate it so it opens at the proper RPM.

Old school way is Harlan RPM switch (if the guy will respond to you...good luck) or Summit RPM switch
New school way is VAFCII or Emanage Ultimate

You'll also need a vacuum canister with built in check valve and a vacuum solenoid.

The written instructions are pretty solid, but the diagrams and discussion relating to the electronics/activation of it are pretty crappy.

I have a good (and very simple) wiring and vacuum diagram I made (if I can find it) that I cans share.

Harlan is junk, always bugged out. I had very good luck with the Summit aside from tricking it into thinking this was a V8 or something along those lines.

i have a brand new never used oem nissan vacuum canister and a summit rpm switch that i used with my mevi back when i had it if you are interested.

Harlan isn't junk IMO. Although I know you and Neal hate them because you've had bad luck with them. 3 of my Maximas have MEVI's with Harlans and have had no isssues for like 6 years now. I installed Ptatohed's MEVI with a Harlan...no issues. And one more on another friend's Max...no issues.

It's all spelled out in the FSM (which apparently you recently downloaded). Dig in, get familiar with it.

I had a Summit RPM switch with an MEVI. Now I have a Summit digital RPM switch with a 00vi. Both work just fine.
