It's been close to 8 months now that he's gone. I've got a brand new 4 Runner, which I do love. It's like a floating couch, drives excellent but doesn't compare in the handling and "fun" area to the Nissan. I needed the large SUV with plenty of room in the back for hauling $hit around. The 4 Runner fit the bill, but I miss driving the Max.

 

So apparently I'm now the president of the SE-L Club due to resignation?

I might be in line after you based on my date and current ownership of 3 SE-L's....

My Maxima has only been gone 3 weeks and I miss it. I bought a Lexus RX350 because of cargo carrying needs.

Considering that the Lexus brand is supposed to be a luxury brand comparable to the Infinity, it is lacking on a lot of little creature comforts and conveniences that my 2000 Maxima had. At least the seats are comfortable.

njmaxseltd and DennisMik, please don't leave the site. Your experience and answers have been a help to all of us. Get another Max, please. I don't mean to diss others as The Wizard and Turbolink are knowledgeable too, but you two have helped me a lot.

 

ya'll two best not be going anywhere... There are many shenanigans yet to be had... Chrisman and myself are going ham this year, as well as a few others... we are in a friendly competition to see who can have the sexiest green car in the game.
