Dusty/haze shape inside headlight housing?

Just noticed this the past 2 days in the low beam part of the headlight housing. It's on both sides - should I be concerned? it's like literally where the beam hits the plastic before projecting outside. And it's on the inner side of the plastic, not outer. Car only has ~35K miles.

I wonder if I can get the dealer to replace this under my 36,000 mile basic warranty.

I wouldn't be too concerned about this. I have the exact same thing on my headlights. I believe it's mainly from the lights projecting on the housing constantly as time goes on.

Also have you tried polishing the lights?

Polishing the lights or you mean the exterior of the housing?

The exterior of the housing is what I meant. I'd try that if you haven't already, it may make a difference.

I have not. But I don't think it's an issue on the external side of the housing? Because both lights have the dust/haze in the exact same spot. It's where the low-beam penetrates the plastic.

I tried to get the dealer to replace it under warranty today, but no dice lol.
