Ok, I just need to ask someone with a clue because the tech support on Sirius have no clues! So I had the favorite artist alert set to notify me when playing and the other day my radio alerted me to tune to channel 330. Odd, because I didn't think I could go that high but I hit the tune button anyway and was put on channel 330 Silk. I tuned manually a few stations both up and down from 330 and found some good stations!
Here's where it gets crazy... I have two cars (maxima and odyssey) both with full option XM subscriptions but only the Maxima has the ability and range to get to those upper range channels. I called tech support to ask why I was able to get one in one car and not the other despite having full package subscriptions and I was told that I wasn't listening to XM channel 330 in my car because those are terrestrial stations and are only allowed through their streaming program. I told them that wasn't true because I've been listening all week in my car and it isn't connect via wifi. They again told me I was wrong and then put me on hold to verify with a higher level of support. They came back and told me again that it wasn't possible because car satellite systems are only capable up to channel 235. I decided to check the website and it also supports their claim that those are "online only" stations but I sure as hell am getting them in my 2016 Maxima SL! Anyone else know why? Or have an answer? Not complaining at all but just plain baffled.... Thanks in advance.
Based on your responses, these channels are certainly more suited for you. Enjoy!

Alright, that actually made me laugh. I am more of a Fox news, Classic Vinyl, Ozzie's Boneyard kinda guy though.

Nice to see you have a good sense of humor, Mason. I must admit I have been surprised at the return of classic vinyl. When I was young (before WWII, I found a stash of vinyl (actually probably 'bakelite' or something, as there was no such thing as vinyl around 1900) records manufactured between 1896 and 1906. In those days, the grooves were only on one side. Being a very ignorant kid, it never occurred to me that those recordings might someday be valuable. I sailed them off the edge of Linville Gorge near Grandfather Mountain (NC) around 1940, just to see how far they would go. I feel sad every time I think back to that.
How has your Maxima fared during the trauma of all the flooding in middle and eastern Texas this year? I have driven mine in very heavy rain, and, so far, no trace of leaks. Unlike my 2004 Maxima SL sunroof.

OW! I can relate...
I was cycling down Cross Bay Blvd in Queens NY in my younger days and happened upon a small box containing a bunch of records just like that. 12 inchers from 1903, brick beige color. Unfortunately, they were left to rot in the summer sun and rain, so they were unplayable. I would have loved to have heard what was on those records.

My channels go up to 470. The last one I have programmed is channel 350, called Red, White and Booze. It's even more interesting because I've had my car for a year now and I get all of the channels offered, even though I supposedly have the most basic music subscription available.
