Hey guys little help I just and all my motor mounts but I can't get the rear Mount bolt to thread in the nut that's welded on the other side I guess I can't get it on the right angle ever other one is in i just havent tightened them down n this one is all the way in just wont thread anybody have any suggestions and I collapsed my tranny pan so i'm going to replace it because it's leaking tranny fluid through the seal how much transmission fluid do I put in.

 

For the rear mount bolt, the best angle is with the front driver side tire removed going straight in from there. If you can't get it to thread though sounds like you need to throw a jack (with a piece of wood) where the engine/tranny meet and adjust height until you get it going. Also take a look at the threads on the welded nut to make sure you haven't messed them up with all your attempts to thread.

Since it sounds like you aren't sure how much fluid you have lost the proper way to check your level is warm up the car run it through all the gears (based on your info sounds like you have auto) then park on level surface and check. Add fluid little by little while the car is running and check it each time you add a little. That's basically laymans terms from the FSM. Until you replace that pan I would use the same method to make sure you don't run low in the meantime. A tranny without the proper amount of fluid will act funny.
