98 Headlights on a 95?

Will the clear lens headlights from 98/99 Maxi's fit my 95?

Current ones are so far gone, it's to replace.
I'll probably install a plug and play HID kit for some added light too

Yes, they will fit.

But aren't the 95's glass? The 98-99 headlights are plastic. I'd rather have glass than plastic. Glass doesn't yellow. Either way, use GE Nighthawk Platinum or Philips Xtreme Vision bulbs. A distant third would be the new Sylvania Silverstar Ultra (the blue bulbs with a clear window)

Strangely, the I30's always had plastic lenses, even when the Maxima had glass

Plastic looks very nice and more modern when they are crystal clear.. Clean them and don't let them yellow.. it only takes an hour to clean them!

Better visibility on the newer ones, regardless of plastic. You could just put a wax over it, or even clear film.

What kind of retrofits does chrisman287 have?

My current glass lens are cloudy on the outside and a strange yellowish on the inside. I figure it's time for a nice upgrade to 98 clear lens!

Will the 98/99 clear lens also mount to the old style grill? Just thought of this. I think the design was changed after 96?
