Mating stock exhaust to Megan racing headers?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I searched and could not find an answer. My '96 Maxima that I just purchased has a full Megan racing exhaust w/ headers. Its a bit loud and i live in a community with noise regulations. The silencer helps but only a bit.

Until I determine what route I want to go, I want to purchase and throw on a full stock (or similar) exhaust but keep the headers on the car. Am I correct in assuming that they should mate up without any modifications?

Any input is appreciated.

No problem doing that. You could even just swap the rear muffler section with stock. Still going to be a little louder than stock due to the different resonator.

Thank you for the response. That makes it a lot easier. I wasn't sure if the flanges will mate up but sounds like they will. I figure it would be best to pull of the whole exhaust system to see if I can sell it. Its only a few months old. I just don't want to go through the pain of pulling the headers.
